Jennifer Gauthier

Jennifer started singing before the age of two, and hasn’t stopped since. Born in Hull, Quebec, she studied piano for 13 years, obtaining First Class Honours, but soon discovered her great passion for the theatre. She later graduated from George Brown College’s esteemed Theatre Arts program, going on to write, perform and coach, and received vocal training from renowned Toronto singer and teacher David Dunbar.

After many years of teaching piano at Branksome Hall and from her home studio, Jennifer became a mom to her wonderful daughter, which led her to the Music Together program as a parent. Jennifer was so impressed with the sophistication and pure fun of the program, that when she was offered the opportunity to train as a teacher, she didn’t hesitate. Jennifer has been a licensed Music Together, Rhythm Kids, and Babies teacher since 2017.

It was in Music Together that she found the perfect marriage of all her passions: singing with an open heart, performing joyfully, and nurturing and playing with children.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys reading, writing, practicing Qigong, drinking coffee (mostly decaf now), listening to audiobooks, and recently, playing very bad chess. Teaching Music Together and spending so much time with the littles keeps her young and fulfilled.
